The House system was introduced in 1934 and it aims to create some healthy and fun competition and to encourage girls to do their best at all times. There are many House events each year, both cultural and sports, and girls are expected to support their Houses at these. They attend House meetings regularly throughout the year and wear their House badges with pride at all times. The Houses were named after various Anglican Bishops.
