ADVANCE PAYMENTS 2012
As a condition of acceptance of a place in the School, an advance payment is required. This is to secure a place in the School as against other potential applicants on the waiting list and for the purposes set out in what follows.
You have the following choices:
i) You may pay the refundable amount shown below and have it refunded, without interest, less any amounts owing, when your daughter matriculates and leaves the School, or if, for any reason, your daughter does not proceed into the Senior School. If your daughter leaves the School before completing Grade 7 or before matriculating, as the case may be, one half of the refundable amount paid will be refunded if written notice of at least one full term shall have been given. If, when your daughter leaves the School, you donate the refundable amount to the School, a Section 18A tax certificate will be issued to you at the end of the tax year
OR
ii) You may donate the non-refundable amount shown below to the School. Please note that once a donation has been made to the School, it will not be refunded under any circumstances. Donations in these circumstances do not qualify for a Section 18A tax certificate.
Current parents may, if they wish, convert their advance payment to a donation.
If your daughter does not take up the place offered, the amount so paid is not refundable unless written notice is received by the School at least one full term before the place is due to be taken up, in which case half of the amount will be refunded.
