Inherent in our Code of Conduct, is the guideline from the Ministry of Education which states that “pupils have the duty/responsibility to learn and to develop their full potential, to participate in the learning process and to apply themselves with diligence, sincere effort and commitment”.
- A St Mary’s girl should always behave in a way that:
- reflects the ethos and mission of the School
- shows respect to herself and other people, including the broader community
- shows respect for personal property and the property of others
- shows she is proud of her uniform and wears it in accordance with School regulations only
- represents the School in a dignified manner
- St Mary’s believes in celebrating life and affording it as much value as possible. To this end, the following are forbidden:
- drugs, or any substance abuse (this includes alcohol consumption and smoking)
- participating in illegal activities
- theft (including borrowing someone’s property without their permission)
- bullying or peer abuse in any form, including cyber-bullying

- assembly
- form time
- lessons
- extra-curricular activities
- Chapel
- Prizegiving
