Grade 1
Grade 1 is a most exciting year for the girls, as this is the year they apply all that they have been learning in Grade 0. Learning to read is the greatest achievement of the year and a whole new world making sense of letters opens up for them. Although the Grade 1 programme is more formal, great emphasis is placed on creativity, sensory exploration, group work and individual interpretation. Music, Art and Physical Education ensure a balanced programme.
