Outline
As the girls move into the final year of Junior School they are encouraged to take on roles of responsibility in the School. Leadership development is an essential role a school must play in preparing girls for their future. This programme aims to create opportunities for all girls to demonstrate their strengths.
This approach prepares the girls for the new leadership development model in the Senior School and ties into the Grade 7 Making the Most of Me programme which is linked directly to Sean Covey’s book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens. The leadership programme is introduced at the start of the Grade 7 year and is a fundamental focus of the camp at Kloofwaters.
