Grade 7 is a very exciting year as the girls have reached the top of the Junior School. They cultivate their leadership roles and take on new responsibilities. Many of the girls assume leadership positions as House or Sports Captains. The M3, a leadership development programme, aims to assist each girl to extend herself in a way that will help to build strong and positive habits and effective goals that will support her in her years ahead.
The Grade 7 tour in the first term is to Kloofwaters, where the girls undertake many team-building activities and focus on developing their leadership skills.
The M3 programme encourages girls to take on responsibilities and the girls are expected to serve on different committees throughout the year. This allows the girls to have an opportunity to be leaders and to fulfil responsibilities. The committees include: ringing the prayer bell, break duty, library or computer room duties, flower committees and more. Each girl is given a responsibility and is expected to fulfil it.
The girls are encouraged to care about their community and they visit various charities and raise awareness of the charities at school.
