On Thursday 26 July the Junior School proved that St Mary’s really has talent! The Finalists’ concert of St Mary’s Has Talent 2012 was held in The Edge and the audience was blown away with the enthusiastic, polished performances of all the finalists. The competition was a great success. From the almost two hundred entries received, fifty-four finalists were chosen through a gruelling audition process. The finalists and Senior Primary Choir also performed with guest artist, David van Vuuren, 2011 Idols winner.

The winners were:
Solo Dance: Bronwyn Craddock
Group Dance: Gia Moreira, Tatum Long-Innes, Roxanne MacRobert, Mariella Nicolaou, Jade Bryan, Micaela Boulle
Instrumentalist: Indira Kathawaroo
Solo Singing: Claire Tsumane
Duet Singing: Nandi Shezi and Khanyisile Maseko
Group Singing: Rebecca Duffy, Tatum Long-Innes and Belusi Simelane
