Debating
St Mary’s has a rich culture of debating and has produced a number of excellent debaters in the past. The Senior girls have exceled in the SACEE (South African Council for English Education) tournament while our junior girls learn the necessary skills required in debating through workshops and practice debates. In 2013 we are looking to modify the debating structure to ensure that the girls participating in this activity are able to state their opinions more effectively and with greater confidence.
