Message from the Headmistress, Ms Deanne King

4 January 2012

To the St Mary’s Class of 2011

Congratulations on your outstanding results.  Your hard work and unfailing effort of the past years have been rewarded with these splendid academic results.  St Mary’s has come to expect a 100% pass, and you have maintained this record.  Your group also achieved a noteworthy 99% bachelor degree pass.  As a group you have 266 distinctions, with 38 girls achieving a 75% average or higher.  I congratulate those who feature on the IEB Outstanding and Commendable Achievers list and the 28 girls placed in the top 1% of a subject.  We are proud of our shining stars.

I am proud of all the St Mary’s girls who diligently worked to ensure their best ever individual achievement.  I am aware that it is only through many hours of study and preparation that you achieved this success.  You showed self-discipline, courage, real interest and motivation in the classroom, and for that I am particularly proud of you all.  The School has been enriched by your sincere and enthusiastic contribution to life at St Mary’s.  Treasure your education and embrace the opportunities that now await you.

Congratulations!

God bless you all.

Deanne King
